Known as nginang, this tradition holds social significance in many cultures across Indonesia. Societal beliefs include idea that nuts offers a sensation similar to smoking cigarettes, provides pastime, reduces bad breath, and even enhances health. However, evidence shows it cause severe damage teeth. Purpose: This research aims analyze literature regarding impact on conditions recommend actions address problems caused by it.
